Update

Well it's been almost a month since the last post so I thought I'd update this thing.

The copyright claim sorted itself out in the end, favoring my side. Turns out other people's videos got flagged because of this and some were more vocal about it than me. The song got privated and then some time after that the claim was dropped.

I've also started F1 2020. I hope to do more than just the official races. I wanted to do My Race but practice takes a while to do per weekend in game. Maybe some more multiplayer racing...  I tried one and it went well, though my outcome wasn't so well. I was also recording the British GP and finished well, but the recording was so choppy... So i guess I'll have to redo it before the actual GP arrives. No idea why it was choppy.

Another day, another thing that happens

Well it seems like recently I got hit with a bogus claim on youtube. Looking through Twitter and on the video of the song it says I used, it looks like I wasn't the only one. I understand claims, and when it is valid (like the ones I have on Just Shapes and Beats) then I have no problem with it. However this is just bogus. The music in that video was from Super Mario Maker 2. Nintendo allows this. The one that claimed this has nothing to do with Nintendo (that I know of).

I mentioned before that I checked on the video of the song it says I used, and it seems to be a 'cover' or a 'remix' that sounds very similar to the original. Maybe this was done on purpose? But then, why wait exactly a year to claim it? My video was uploaded on July 2, 2019, and was claimed July 3, 2020. A weird coincidence.
